PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia 76ers All-Star guard Allen Iverson will miss Tuesday’s game against Toronto and possibly the team’s upcoming West Coast road trip. An MRI on Monday showed Iverson sustained a sprain and contusion of the right foot. The injury occurred at the end of the first half against Memphis Sunday, when Iverson inadvertently stepped on a ball boy’s foot while backpedaling after a shot. After playing Toronto, Philadelphia will head west to play Seattle, the LA Clippers, and Golden State. Iverson is officially listed as doubtful for the road swing. The 6-footer is averaging 33.2 points and 7.4 assists per game this season.
